I've got all of Alica Keys' albums, but I really took my time to get this one. I thought her previous album, As I Am, was a bit cozy and kinda boring for what I've come to expect of Alicia. Finally, I saw her at the Essence Music Festival this year and she blew me away. I got the album and I wish I'd bought it sooner. I listen to it all that time.

Love the album!br /Alicia Keys has always looked to push the envelope as an artist and she does her thing with The Element of Freedom. Mostly bought the CD for the song Empire State of Mind Pt. 2, which is a bit different from the Jay-Z version, a bit more powerful in my honest opinion. Not a bad buy.
