Three Dog Night has just enough rock muscle to counteract their pop tendencies. The hooks are there, but the musicianship carries them higher. Back in their day, maybe, pop could be transcendent. Not now...? br /br /'Celebrate' has me dancing around the living room every time I play it. I guess I was born in the wrong decade!br /br /BTW...I just listened to their hits on vinyl, the Golden Biscuits album.
