I am pleased with this cd, but as others have posted before, there really isn't a greatest hits collection of GFR as they had so many albumns all deserving praise so I may well be purchasing some other cd's of GFR to elaborate on more of the songs they did.br /br /If you grew up a proud blue collar middle class person as I did, GFR should be part of your musical makeup...

GREATEST HITS is yet another great compilation of Grand Funk Railroad's hit singles and album tracks for Capitol Records, spanning the years 1969-1975. One song that's here that wasn't on CAPITOL COLLECTORS SERIES is "Take Me", and, unlike the previous anthology, it isn't sequenced chronologically. However, that's not a major problem, as it plays like a great mix tape, showing both the heavy rock side and the later, more pop-oriented side of the band quite effectively. Moreover, the fact that past and present members have supported efforts to free Americans jailed in Iran and North Korea on false charges makes this CD an essential purchase for both your ears AND your conscience.

I grew up with this music in the 70's. My son, mentioned he has fallenbr /in love with this band, so I bought this for him. He says he loves it.br /Music from the 70's is soo much better than todays music. I thought itbr /was so cool my 28 year old son wanted music from my day!!!!

Good product, came exactly how it was described. My issue was that it took over two weeks to get here. Not cool. Shipping should be free if its going to take that long.
