For anyone planning to buy this new album, I would definitely recomment getting this version because it includes a cd with all the tracks from the regular album version, and of course it's aways nice to listen to these wonderful songs on your turntable. :) Quality is pristine and it sounds exactly like the regular cd. br /br /Includes: br /Vinyl Record (double-sided)br /Lyricsbr /Original CD with 13 tracks
Breath of Fresh Air (2010-02-10) : 4/5
I'll admit that for a while I wasn't much of a fan...the way she executed her vocals along with the rhythm of her piano work...it seemed awkward to a first time listener. Maybe that's what people loved about her, but with this album, her unique vocals and piano rhythm make more sense, they've found their place in between each note so perfectly...it's better structured than her previous work, but never stable...never boring. As a result, I'm now an official Regina Spektor fan and happy about it. For preview downloads try: "Eet", it is beautiful (maybe too stable for some, but still good) and "Machine", it has such an innovative execution that I don't see how anyone couldn't like it, lyrics are amazing too. I can't wait to see what she comes up with next!

Simply divine!! Give the entirety a go one time through before deciding favorites. You'll be surprised what songs will stay with you the longest. I also loved this album because she stays true to herself while balancing creativity of song, diversity in melodies, and continuity in vocal experimentation. Just lovely!!

As usual, Regina did not disappoint. The variety of producers including Jeff Lynn of ELO gave the songs added dimension with a more complete sound without overpowering Regina's strenghts---her incredible voice and her piano. Great album!
